The Story Behind Von's Island!
Hailing from the San Gabriel Valley, Von's Island is a four-piece band that came together, after connecting through flyers at Pasadena City College. The lineup includes Casey Smith (Guitar, Vocals), Angel Campos (Bass), Lo Kuei Na (Drums), and Aiden Joo (Guitar, Vocals). As they've grown, they've evolved from garage alt-punk roots to exploring the high-energy realm of groove punk, drawing inspiration from diverse iconic bands like Metallica, Led Zeppelin, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, and Knocked Loose. The name "Von's Island" captures their eclectic sound, which defies one specific genre. Primarily focused on crafting original music, Von's Island is gearing up to celebrate their new EP, "Back Of The Woods", taking a significant step towards their dream. Creating the passion for music into a career.
