Pacific Sunsets is composed of brothers Cesar and Franco Alva, who were born in Peru. Their unique sound, "Sunset Rock," is inspired by surfing, meditation, and the Pacific Ocean. Influenced by musical groups such as Temples, Tame Impala, and Soda Stereo, they create music that reflects their connection to nature and authentic experiences.
Pacific Sunsets was formed in January of 2021 when we released our first single “Summer Only” which was recorded at Coma Studios in Long Beach, California.
The Pacific Sunsets are brothers Cesar Alva and Franco Alva.
Sunset Rock is what we call our sound. This style of music is inspired by the waves and sunsets we encounter surfing & meditating in the Pacific Ocean.
We love a lot of different bands from several genres and backgrounds. Some of them are Temples, Tame Impala, Los Mirlos, Soda Stereo and the Growlers.
Both Cesar and Franco were born in Peru. It has always been a family tradition to watch sunsets together. Since we were kids, our parents took us to the peruvian pacific coast to appreciate sunsets and be grateful for the gift of nature. The name of the band is in honor to our parents.
It has always been original music but we sometimes throw a fun cover or two during our sets.
We have a lot of new music coming out. And we have a few dates in May & June that we will be announcing in our platforms soon!
Our group goals are to always channel what the environment wants to say through our music. To always create songs that come from real experiences.
