Get Well began as a creative experiment that quickly turned into a full-fledged band with a gritty raw sound. Fueled by original music at their core and high-energy live shows, they're quickly making a name for themselves across the Antelope Valley and it's surroundings. Let’s get right to it - Here's the story behind the sound and how it all came together.
The Story Behind Get Well!
Hailing from Palmdale, CA, Get Well is a screamo trio that officially came together in October 2024. What began as casual jamming and idea-sharing, quickly evolved into a serious project. The lineup includes Josh (Guitar, Vocals), Robert (Bass, Vocals), and Phillip (Drums). Josh and Robert go way back to high school, while Phillip joined the band after connecting with them through Instagram. As their chemistry grew, so did their sound, influenced by bands like I Promised the World, Alexisonfire, and Pierce The Veil. Screamo became their signature style, blending raw emotion with dynamic instrumentals.
The band's name, was coined by Phillip during their naming process and it stuck as the perfect fit. While their focus has always been original music, they occasionally include a song by Old Gray in their live sets for good measure. With upcoming shows in the Antelope Valley and Los Angeles on the horizon, Get Well set their eyes on playing more out-of-town gigs and growing their fanbase by sharing their intense music.
