Dead Romantics' Sound and What Influences Them

Dead Romantics currently draw inspiration from iconic legendary bands such as The Beatles, Johnny Cash and The Ramones. Although they have developed their own sound, during their earlier years, they drew inspiration from bands such as Green Day and Bad Religion.  The band have been crafting music since the 1990s and have created a repertoire largely comprised of original songs that showcase their depth and creativity. Their sound is a testament to their diverse influences, reflecting the evolution of their unique musical style.

Our Favorite Question! What's the story behind the name?

The band's name was coined by bassist Johnny Winkler. It originated from a candid reflection of the members' states of mind at the time. "Dead Romantics" was chosen to describe the trio's collective cynicism and disillusionment with love. The name Dead Romantics resonated with the band and their own experiences and emotions.
