 Hailing from California's San Fernando Valley, Altar is a blend of progressive metal that seemlessly fuses elements of metalcore, thrash, metal, Goth, and Prog Metalcore. The lineup features Chloe's powerful vocals, Ernesto's scorching lead guitar, Isaiah's driving rhythm guitar, Sean's pulsing bass, and Emiliano's pounding drums.  With diverse influences shaping their music, Altar's sound is a dynamic fusion of complex styles.

   In 2022, Altar was born in California's San Fernando Valley.  The members, united by fate, their love of music and geographic proximity, came together through school and mutual friends. Drawing inspiration from bands like Spiritbox, Erra, and Tesseract, Altar's music is shaped by diverse tastes. The band's name originated from lead singer Chloe's concept for a game called Altar, which laid the groundwork for their identity.  Committed to originality, Altar has focused on creating their own sound, forging their own path and eschewing the cover band route.

   This summer, they're booking gigs and prepping for a new EP release—title still TBA. With their career on the rise, they've built an impressive network of contacts with bigger artists, opening doors for potential collaborations and exciting future opportunities.
